Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Online roulette may be a game of chance; however, players are always eager to find out if there is a way that they get the best out of the game. That is why they always ask, “is there a strategy for playing roulette?”

Online Roulette Strategies

To answer that question there are at 5 strategies that players can use in the game of online roulette. However, players should note that these strategies will do nothing to change the house edge, they will, however, help you make better bets and manage your money wisely as you play.

  • The Martingale Roulette Strategy
  • Reverse Martingale
  • The D’Alermbert
  • The Fibonacci Roulette Strategy
  • The James Bond Strategy
  1. Martingale Roulette Strategy

When using the Martingale strategy, players will be required to double their bet after a loss. The goal of the strategy being to get it all back make you make a win. Players will have to bet on one colour and with every loss, they need to double their bet.  This is until they win.

When using this strategy, players need to aware of the gamblers’ fallacy. Just because you have lost a 100 times does not mean that you win, it does mean that you will lose either. Another thing that players need to watch out for is their bankroll. This as you may max it out after several consecutive bets.

  2. Reverse Martingale

As you can tell by the name, this is the reverse of the Martingale strategy. In this case, players will need to increase their bets when they win and lower them when they lose. That way, you take advantage of the winning streaks and make the most out of them.

The Reverse Martingale has a few flaws as well, the main one to do with timing. Players when using this strategy may lose all their wins if they time it wrong.

  3. The D’Alembert

The D’Alembert Strategy follows under the same flow of thought with the Martingales. The only difference is that players raise their bet by one. Players, when they lose, increase their bet by one and they win decrease their bet by one.

The main flaw in their strategy is keeping up with your wins and losses.

  4. The Fibonacci Roulette Strategy

If you love numbers, then you will love this strategy. This as the strategy has a lot to do with your bankroll. The Fibonacci focusses on the way that you set your bets. Using this online roulette strategy should know that every number after the first two is the sum of the preceding ones. That sounds a bit complicated, let us break it down for you.  If you bet 1 in the first spin of the wheel, you next bet will be a 2. i.e 1+1 =2. And in the next round, your next bet will be a 3, i.e.  +2=3, and in the nest it will be a 5 i.e 3+2= 5 and so on.

Using this strategy, players may break even, this is if they lose more game than they win.

  5. The James Bond Strategy

This was a strategy that many believe to be fool-proof. However, to use this strategy, you need to have a bankroll of C$140, to begin with. From there you place your bets as follows:

    i. C$140 on high numbers, 19-36
ii. C$50 on low numbers 13-18
iii. C$10 on 0, for insurance

The main flaw in this strategy is the money that you stand to lose with each passing bet.
